Pregnancy getting harder - 14 Days to go…

Last couple of days, my pregnancy has been very hard. Due to a lot of weight, my body gets tired; don’t get enough sleep and so on. These few days seem very long and feel like that they will never end. I am getting tired, being impatient of seeing my baby, not getting enough sleep and so on.

Getting Ready For the Birth - 17 Days To Go…

I believe in being prepared, so I packed my bag which I would take with me to the hospital, when my labor starts. I suggest to pack a bag as you start the ninth month of pregnancy. Don’t leave it for too late because you don’t know when you will go into labor. So it’s better to be prepared, rather than panicking and forgetting things when the time comes.

As the time is coming closer to the labour, your feelings and emotions start to change, especially if it’s your first child. You started getting excited about the baby, scared about what will happen during labour, how will you cope and so on. So I was reading this article about how your partner can make you feel relaxed during labour, so you don’t feel that you have to go through this all by yourself.

No Baby Movements Today - 23 Days To Go…

Being a new mum and pregnant for the first time can make you worried over little things, especially when the time is coming closer to the delivery of the baby. You don’t want anything to go wrong. In the last few weeks, a mother is supposed to monitor the baby’s movements. As the baby gets bigger, it has less room to move about in the womb.

I got really scared today because I didn’t feel my baby’s kicks or movements all day, as I used to in earlier days.

Introduction of Mama - 25 Days To Go…

My name is Rikke Olsen and this is my diary of new motherhood. I’m 27 years old (currently) and have no kids (yet). I’ve got my first kid on the way and I thought I would document my experience here.
