My son’s 3 Months Birthday

Today we celebrated our son’s third month birthday…

Nothing special, we just invited the nearest family and everyone gave presents. Funny thing is that we (mama & papa) were the only ones who didn’t buy presents (shame on us).

Besides that, loads of small new things. When I put him down on his stomach, he keeps his head up, and use his hands/elbows to push him self up, till he gets tired. He is interested in faces and recognizes people. He can hold onto objects and wave them around. He does not deliberately reach, but may swipe at objects and if they move, will swipe again.

He likes to lie on his baby mat with the colourful toys hanging above him, and swipe at the toys.

Also he loves to take baths; they make him relax and give him a good quality sleep. I tend to bath him close to his bed time, and then I quickly feed him. This way he sleeps well during most of the night.

He has also talks a lot in his own language (only if he is fresh) and smiles a lot. If we are lucky he might even give us a laugh now and then. His smiles and laughs makes us feel very blessed.
