Heads Up My Son

Everything is going fine with the baby except I was a bit worried about that my son couldn’t keep his head up when lying on his stomach. He would hold it for a few seconds and then drop it.

So I asked my nurse when she came to visit me last time about this issue. She suggested me to start putting my son on his stomach. This would help develop his back and neck muscles as well as his posture. So I’ve started to put him down on his stomach to play, and when he gets tired after 4-5 minutes I turn him around.

It really helped my son a lot. Now I put him on his stomach 3-4 times a day, and he has started to hold his head for longer periods of time. If anyone has more good tips, please share…

Other than that everything is fine.

He is growing fast… very fast. Now I know that it is completely true when people say that childhood passes very quickly. It seems like yesterday when I held him in my arms for the first time. And now he is almost three months old. His clothes are getting smaller as he is getting taller and bigger. Rather than fitting “0-3 months” clothes, I have to dress him with “4-6 months” baby clothes. He has started babbling in his own language (which is the cutest ever), smiling, recognising voices and faces and playing with toys. Every day he seems to learn new skill.
